Alex Lacazette has joined the short list of injured players in the team. The striker who missed Arsenal’s trip to the Magpies before making a return at home against Burnley, is going to be out until October.
Lacazette limped off during an Emirates Cup game due to an ankle injury. According to the latest report from the club’s website Arsenal.com, the forward has an injury on his left ankle.
“After assessments to an ongoing ankle issue, we have advised that Alex will need to rest and strengthen his ankle to regain full fitness. Alex has been playing through this injury for several weeks. He is likely to be back in action in October”.
The forward will miss the trip to Watford this weekend, he will also miss the start of the Europa League as well the important tie against Manchester United.
We wish Alex Lacazette a quick recovery, and hope he comes back stronger.
