Hello Gooners,
Busy day, let’s do a quick preview.
Few weeks ago we were complaining of having no games due to the Internationals now we have three games in 8 days, that’s sure is more than enough to fill our appetite. The win at Cardiff underlined our targets this season and though on paper the win looks like we were comfortable, the truth is that Cardiff had spells in the game when they could have hurt us, good thing is our amazing goalie kept his concentration and rescued us when the game would have been pulled back.

Sometimes as fans we enjoy an atmosphere of rivalry like is witnessed whenever Spurs come to our ground but it’s just as special when you visit a ground like Cardiff and the fans are extremely nice and receptive. The acknowledgement they gave to Aaron when he scored , joining the Arsenal away fans in singing Pat Rice’s name during the game and I heard on the Monday Guardian Football weekly pod cast that the Match Day assistants wear the away teams jersey while they serve you burger and beer. Certainly we can want a team like this relegated now do we? So all the best Cardiff City, we sure will be nice to you when you visit the Emirates aside from the fact that we would take the 3 points , you can have everything else.
Its Hull City next, they visit us after beating Liverpool for the first time in their history last weekend, sadly that’s not a record we seem to have with them. I remember watching the game the last time they visited in 2008 and we lost 2-1, first goal was a lovely goal from Giovanni and Cousin scored another in less than 5 minutes. They suffered relegation soon after and new investment and Steve Bruce have brought them back up, they seem to be doing fairly well thus far this season and steady performances have seen them in the top half of the league.
Arsenal however will be taking no prisoners even though the Manager has indicated that there would be some squad rotation. Sagna is definitely out of this encounter so we welcome Sir Jenks into the side, maybe Nacho would come in for Gibbs, Arteta might sit this one out for Flamini and Theo is likely to start. We wait to see of the manager will give Giroud a rest and start with Bendtner but I would rather Theo starts in the middle and Gnabry on the right than have the Dane play any role. Walcott showed us in 4 minutes when he came on against Cardiff what he can bring into this team, his almost scored from a Ramsey pass and finally used his pace to win the ball and set up Ramsey nicely for his third goal.
Prediction: Arsenal 3 – Hull City 0
Not certain Steve Bruce would be too happy with the prediction above though especially as he is hoping for a goal from Huddlestone so the player can cut his hair. Huddlestone’s deflected effort gave Hull their third goal against Liverpool and Bruce was quoted to have jokingly pleaded with the journalists to push for him to be credited with the goal
‘I need you lot to give us a hand here,’ Bruce told gathered journalists ahead of Hull’s trip to Arsenal.‘Tom thinks the back spin was coming back in (to the goal). ‘It means he’s half a stone lighter if he gets the barnet cut off…you have to give it Tom. Help me, then he can get his flaming hair cut.’ – Steve Bruce
I’m sorry Bruce but you are going to have to live with till the weekend at least as long as Woj has something to with it. If his hair is that much of a problem just ask him to cut the damm thing, didn’t Pasarella drop Redondo from the World Cup in 94 because he refused to cut his hair? Anyways, it really isn’t my problem.
So, three points later tonight friends. Have yourself a great day.

Looking forward to the line up really.
Only one keeper could have saved that ball in this world. One and only Sir Chesney
