“I had a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
Scratch that Martin, not that kind of dream!
I was really asleep this time not giving a speech like MLK and I HAD A DREAM
I just landed early at Heathrow, May 11th 2014 and a cabbie drove me straight to the train station where I was to meet the guys from ‘The Tuesday Club’ podcast. I was their guest in London and I was off to watch my first live Arsenal game added to the experience I was in a coach heading to Norwich with some of the funniest Arsenal fans the world has ever seen
So the booze was flowing, everyone was in high spirits as we could win the league today and the guys decide to do a flash back to an event that could reoccur today. Alan goes, hei hei (in his Giroud imitation voice) Tayo …do you remember the year when the French lad eh went out knackered and missed the world cup and we won the league eh. DjTayo goes, yea mate, Robert Pires , 2002 mate, I sure remember that one! And they went on and on about that season having loud laughs…I was just in awe of these guys! Felt like I was in a middle of a podcast
Still dreaming but in real life, Power has gone in Lagos, Nigeria. Air conditioner off and temperature is rising, heat coming, beginning to sweat, a mosquito humming close by about to wake me up from this dream. The Devil is a liar. We are off to the stadium; I have never seen so many red shirts in my life before! Everyone happy, cheerful, GOONERS!! , some with flags, some with pretend trophies and I am right in the midst of them. I love this dream…hopefully it gets better
Kick off, the pressure is on. This trip as beautiful as it is would be pointless if we don’t win this game. Chelsea and Man City are just a point behind, Spurs have sacked Tim Sherwood and they are in a relegation battle. United, well United have a Europa league chance that has not been helped by RVP putting in a transfer request the weekend before. So we have to win this game. 75” scores 0-0, Chelsea and City are leading and City are going to win it based on goal difference, we are yet to score. 88th minute, frenzy in the air….everyone screaming!!! Ozil was injured the week before but he is on the bench, Wenger takes out Gibbs, sends in Ozil in a last gasp attempt to get something..Serge surges forward he is brought down close to the area 89th minute. Ozil stands behind the ball, everyone is forward even the goalie, Ozil looks to the sky, covers his eyes in prayer!
Ozil prays again
Ozil prays one more time again
For fucks sake screams Alan Davies, raving mad with his hair going into remission. TAKE THE BLADDY FREE KICK YOU ********
90th minute, BOOM!!! Ozil hits the ball right into the net. GOAAAL!!!! ….someone told me, if you experience this kind of excitement in a dream you usually just wake up but no, this dream doesn’t have any chance of stopping..mad celebration!!
We are in mad celebration
The Team is in a huddle!!!
The Manager is in mad in joy!!!The final whistle is blown. Nothing has ever felt better, that’s what we thought until we saw him looking all dapper, our beloved Theo, The Legend…the last time we say him he was trolling the Spurs fans
and then he walked up to the pitch…all the fans screaming THEO THEO THEO and he got his winners medal and lifted the Cup. It was like Pires all over again,
I couldn’t take it anymore, I was going to run into the pitch, I was here as a guest anyways so if I get banned I am going back to Nigeria so its needless and then with my first step out of my seat I felt the bite of the mosquito and slapping myself in a bid to kill the sucker, I woke up! Damm!
I sure had a dream..Hope it comes true. #GetWellSoonTheo

Really Really sad news. I an beginning to think your dislike for Giroud is worse than the one we have for SPURS. Loool. Really sad he would miss the world cup, we need to sign someone soon. Cheers Yinka
Yinka abeg change your perception of Giroud, at least he is our backbone now. Let’s just keep faith in him and hope he can do enough to deliver the long awaited trophies.
Joseph d dreamer,Nice one bro. But I must confess, dis s a major blow to us,d guy was just gettin back his goal scoring form and an average of 2 goals is certain for him even in crucial matches. Why do we hav to loose such an asset at dis critical stage where both lion and leopard chasing us,to devour us and overtake us,I AM SAD.
Really sad news Yomi, don’t know why sad things happen to Good people but we trust Wenger to react soon.
Love your Lion and Leopard analogy, which is the leopard though? City or Chelsea?
Was sad last night hearing the news… so sad we would miss him I pray the team wins the league and FA cup double for him..
Get well soon theo! We’ll surely miss u and i hope we sign a replacement very soon
Thanks Alpha, hopefully we do. The club needs to react soon. The only good from the injury is that it happened at a time when we can make use of transfer market to correct.
This is a dream but I see reality in it. I won’t doubt myself being in the stadium against Norwich if it’s going to be a decider. And they can give me a season-long stadium ban all they like (next flight back to Naija), but I will do a Maurice Green round the stadium first. Lovely piece.
Thanks Abe,
Can’t wait to see us lift that trophy again. I really feel once we lift one all others would be easier. And seems all of us won’t mind running down the length of the pitch to celebrate….nine years of sorrow turned to Joy
This dream is crazy. I wouldn’t mind it though. I prefer we win the league with about 2 games in hand
Surely we would all prefer that, but have you seen the form Man City is on? Those guys are taking it to the wire my friend
[…] I had a dream about Theo Walcott…. […]
