It could’ve been worse. We could have been spurs

For me, it’s that little bit harder to write after Arsenal fail to win games. It hurts, albeit slightly in this case. So I asked my alter-egos, was it 2 points dropped or a point gained against WestBrom? Xeus sees it as a point gained, so does Arselord but Andy doesn’t. He says although we were poor in the first half, we did enough in the second to go home with all three points. I thought we were terrible all through the game say for the last 20 minutes. WestBrom created the better chances and should have gone 2-nil up, twice. Having said that, I think it bodes well that we managed to avoid defeat at the Hawthorns against an Albion team that beat the champions at Old Trafford. It is not like we were beaten 3-nil at our own backyard by a team that hadn’t managed to score an away goal all season. Westbrom will take more big scalps and as Wilshere rightly put it,”during the course of the season, we’ll look at today and this point as a point gained”.

The international break also known as ‘the devil’ is upon us and I really should hate it but I don’t, not this time. With our squad thin as it is at the moment, any break is welcome, especially one that could aid the return of Walcott, Cazorla, Sagna, Podolski and Oxlade-chamberlain. But with Arsenal’s injury luck, you fear they’ll be coming in for a new set of players that would return from the break injured.
Top of the league after 7 games, Is it time to get excited? The experts say we will get a clearer picture after 10 games. So we wait, 3 more games. But, based on what we’ve seen thus far we are set to the most exciting title race ever. I am stoked we are involved and will be even happier if we manage to go all the way. Look at our team and tell me you aren’t finding it very hard to conceal your excitement.
A picture of a potential 2014/15 Arsenal kit/training gear surfaced online. What do you think about them?

Oops! I almost wrote a whole article without mentioning his name. Özil. There you go…
