Matteo Guendozi believes the team is a much improved side compared to last season. The midfielder spoke to Sky Sports ahead of the trip to Anfield and he oozed optimism through his words.
Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of the Liverpool game, he said: “Last year was not our finest hour, but it’s very different to last season, it’s a new game and new team so I don’t see why it would be the same result”
“We’ve had a much better start as well – last year we started with two losses, but this year we’re already six points up. We gave a better overall team and we’re feeling good about ourselves, we have a good team and we believe in ourselves”.
“I know we can really do well, we’re going there to win and I believe we can beat anyone premier league side”
The last time Arsenal visited Anfield, the team lost 5-1 after taking the lead via Maitland-Niles. The fans will be hoping for a better performance this time around, especially with the arrival of players like David Luiz, Nicolas Pepe, and Dani Ceballos.
