Saka nominated for PFA Young Player of the year

Bukayo Saka has made the shortlist for PFA Young Player of the Year. The 18-year-old’s performance during the 2019/2020 season earned him a place on the list.

Our young and versatile winger featured 37 times last season across all competitions, and he assisted 11 goals while scoring four goal himself.

The list is a strong one as other young players such as Tammy Abraham, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mason Greenwood, Mason Mount, Marcus Rashford are also present.

Bukayo Saka reacted to the nomination as he quoted a tweeted from the Arsenal account with two smiley face emojis to express his happiness.

Five Gunners have won the award in the past; Tony Adams, Paul Merson, Nicolas Anelka, Cesc Fabregas and Jack Wilshere.
