Saka ready for Lacazette challenge

by Koolkola

Arsenal teenager Bukayo Saka has worked his way into the hearts of fans already. The young wide forward came into the fold after the ankle injury sustained by Alexander Lacazette and has taken his opportunity well.

Alex Lacazette has been injured since the start of last month, but looks set to return in tonight’s game against Sheffield United. His return means that Saka might likely settle for a place on the bench tonight.

However, when asked if he’s fazed by the return of the Frenchman, the teenager replied that he isn’t and that he is ready for the challenge.

Saka said:”Do I feel ready to challenge him? Yeah.

“It’s always good to have all our best players available, all of us competing makes us push to play better and better.”

He added, “If one player is injured then others get an opportunity but I want everyone to come back and do the best for Arsenal. The boss knows what I can do, what the other players can do.”

If Arsenal win tonight, the team will return to 3rd position. Saka will be hoping he gets to retain his spot in the starting xi.
