Howdy, thank you for visiting. Another win over Everton sees Arsenal joint top of the league and while the media are more interested in chasing a crazy manager that would give them 7 minutes rants, abuse his staff and publicly malign his players. Arsene Wenger chose this occasion to remind us of his precious jewel using these words;
“He is a top-class player, honestly. I think rather than talking about him I would rather watch him play again. If you love to watch football, you love to watch Ozil.”
Those words, my proximity to the heavenly bodies, or the fact that I just said the Lord’s Prayer on a flight back home this weekend inspired what you will read below.
The Ozil Prayer
Our Ozil, Who art at Arsenal,
Blessed be your name,
Your skills are not from earth,
Your passes are made in Heaven,
Give us every game,
Your lovely assists,
And forgive trespasses of those who question your worth,
Though we will never forgive those who accused you of nicking a living
Lead us dear Ozil, to more trophies
And deliver us from future droughts.
For the Emirates is your Kingdom, your Empire and your territory
Forever and Ever.
Amen

The line Lead us dear Ozil, to more trophies and deliver us from future drought. Requires a big amen…….ameeeeeen!

For the Emirates is your Kingdom, your Empire and your territory…….I love this line.
Amen!!!!!
loool. He rules there!!
Hope we’ve not gone far. Let not God be angry o o
I’m sure He has a sense of humour…
kindly learn to draw the line between a joke and God almighty. Even Ozil prays to Allah. stop giving him the attributes given to God alone
1. I don’t care which religion an Arsenal player practices.
2. I don’t even think prayers work in sport.
If Ozil is muslim and I’m Christian and I want to say a prayer for him, do I have to say it in Ozil’s religion. I think the focus of the post was to highlight Ozil’s magnificence and not the prayer itself.
That is coming to hunt you now, Simon. Yeah, SWFC 3 VS 0 ARSENAL
They were lucky Ozil didn’t play..
