Arsenal left back Kieran Tierney sustained a shoulder injury during the victory against West Ham. The Scottish man left the game in the first half after a clash with Antonio.
After the match, Freddie spoke to the media regarding the injury. He said: “Tierney, I think it’s something with his shoulder but I don’t know exactly what it is. But obviously we had to take him off so I think he’s going to maybe go to hospital and check what it is.”
After further diagnosis, it has been revealed that the left back might miss up to three months of football. A return date has not been set but he continues to get consultations on the injury.
It is a big blow for the left back as he had missed out on several weeks of football after his move. He looks to be settling in and he will have to start again when he returns.
We wish him quick recovery
Other injury reports as released by the club is that Bellerin and Pepe are being assessed ahead of the clash against City. Both will miss out on the Europa League tie against Standard Leige. Xhaka will miss out on both matches after he suffered a concussion in the West Ham match.
