Bukayo Saka’s brilliant season for the club has earned him a nomination for PFA Young Player of the Year.
After making his England debut late last year, the Hale End graduate has been included in Gareth Southgate’s squad for this summer’s European Championships.
Despite playing in different positions for the team, the versatile forward scored 7 goals and made 10 assists in his 46 appearances last season. In a difficult season for the club, he was one of the most consistent performers.
Saka is up against some good talents for the Young Player of the Year award with Declan Rice, Mason Greenwood, Mason Mount, Phil Foden and Trent Alexander-Arnold also on the shortlist.
The forward has continued his fine form, as he scored his first goal for the English National team in a 1-0 friendly win over Austria.
We wish Bukayo Saka the best of luck at the Euros and in the awards.
